Sparven!
My sparrow was found by some of Jonathan's friends.
They found him abandoned on the ground, he probably fell out of the nest.
They went to our house to show it to Jonathan, and then I also saw that cute little baby.
When they asked me if I wanted to take care of it, I couldn't refuse.
So I brought him into the house to look fore Peachie and Pysen's old birdhouse, the one that they used when they had their eggs, and I put "Sparven" in it and underneath him, a soft towel, with cotton all around him.
I never got time to give him a name, so I just call him "Sparven" - "The Sparrow"
I called a bird expert that we had turned to earlier about Peachie and Pysen, but she wasn't home. I decided to bring him to school the next day to ask my biology teacher what I should do with it, and if there was a chance for him to survive without his mum.
Of course, he needed food and water, so I
took a syringe without the needle and put water in it for him. As
food I gave him wet pieces of bread.
That was another reason to take him to school - I had to give him
food and water every time he was hungry, and the only one at home
that day was my mum, and I didn't even dare to ask her
to take care of "Sparven" a couple of hours when I was
at school (Whoever knows her well understands...!).
So I brought him to school, some people thought he was cute, and others thought he was disgusting.
I showed him to my biology teacher and she said that it wasn't for sure that he would be able survive, the only thing I could do was to continue to give him food and water and keep him warm.
The next day he died.
He was only one or two days old when we found him, so I think he was too little to survive without his mum, he probably needed better food cause he wouldn't eat the food I gave him, he would only close his mouth and wouldn't open it until I gave him water instead.
We buried him in the garden.
