The Bus!
The bus has been seen again. It first came every fifth year. Then it came every second year. Then it came every year. Now it comes several times a year and there's no way to know where it may be, or which it is. Every time the bus driver looks different, and you may even see people in the bus, but in the end when you enter the bus there is no way out. This driver doesn't let off anyone, and no one who has entered the bus have ever been seen again. They simply disappeared, and they are all considered dead.
Man, again?! Gregory Selmbelly was looking in the newspaper. Who was this crazy driver? Why did he kill all of his victims? Then he got a call.
"Hello?"
"Gregory? This is Monty Carlsberg. The one in charge of the bus company. Everyone is afraid of going on the busses. You are a detective. You are the only one who can help us. Pleeeaaase!"
"Oh, well. I'll see what I can do."
The next day he was at the busstop. Then a bus came. Gregory watched it closely as it drove away. It was not it. From the real one you could always hear a hysteric laugh when it drove away.
There's another one. Gregory was ready. Some passangers entered the bus. The bus drove away as you could hear "Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!" That was it! Gregory hurried after it. He almost catched up, but as it came to an abandoned windmill it suddenly disappeared.
Why at the windmill? Gregory checked it out. It was just an ordinary windmill. Except that it was abandoned.
He went to the library to find out some stuff about this windmill.
Hm... The windmill had belonged to a certain Goring family, but they emigrated to Greenland when their taxes became too high.
The next owner of it was a mr. Herkney Billburd. He had been a strange person. He was the last owner. He had died tragically in an accident with a bus. It was because a passenger by mistake pushed him out, and the bus drove over him. Someone had said that when he was at the hospital and was about to die, he had said that he hated every bus passenger, and that he would take revenge on everyone who dared go on his bus.
Gregory put down his book. This was crazy! But still... It was the only explanation. He checked out another book about "Strange myths and fairytales"
It said that the only weapon against a bus ghost was a merqulized menderfier, and still there was 35% chance that the ghost would be immune against it.
Gregory bought a merqulized menderfier and went to check out the busses.
He went to the bus stop and waited. Then a bus came. Gregory entered it. It was in the middle of the night and there was a thunder storm.
Gregory saw the driver. He looked like any other driver. But as soon as the bus started his face changed and he looked like a wild and crazy ghost, which was exactly what he was. All the other passangers dissapeared. Gregory showed him his secret weapon.
"You can't hurt me! I have a merqulized menderfier!"
The ghost looked terrified on him.
"A merqulized menderfier?? Oh no! Please don't! I... I..."
Gregory came closer and showed it to him.
"You can't hurt me."
"Oooooh yes I CAN! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Did you think that I, Herkney Billburd would be afraid of a merqulized menderfier??? You must be kidding!"
Then Gregory felt something cold against his neck. The last thing he heard was a hysteric laugh.
"Hahahahahahaha!!!!!"
