Obelixan, Billy, Cassanova and Xena!

Obelixan: My brother, Jonathan found Obelixan when we lived in Mekor Chayim (on a meadow in front of our house).
When I got her I had no idea how to tell the difference between a male and a female turtle, so I just assumed that it was a male and called her Obelix.
After about six months someone told me how, and I saw that she is actually a female.
I started to call her "Ophelia" instead, but it just didn't feel right.
So I called her "Obelixan".
In the begining when I had her, she lived on our balcony, but she wasn't very happy.
There was nothing to dig in and no rocks to climb on.
I took her with me when we moved to Ma'ale Adumim, and put her in our garden.
After about two years I moved her to our other, bigger garden that we don't use.
I made a special place in the garden for her and the others, where I built stuff like a maze of rocks, a little hill of rocks and sand, two tunnels and lots of other stuff.
It was finished August 21st -99.
She is quite big, 16 cm long, 11 cm wide and 9 cm high.
We found her March 30th -97.

Billy: My dad found Billy on the Shepherd's field in Bethlehem.
It's hard to tell the difference between a male and a female tortoise. In the begining I thought that Billy was a female, and called him "Belinda", but sometime in July -99, he mated with Obelixan. So I changed his name to "Billy".
He is average size, about 12 cm long, 7 cm wide and 6 cm high.
He has a much lighter color than Obelixan and a very round head.
My dad found her November 8th -97.
A lot of times it's hard to find Billy in the garden, he's an expert on finding hiding places.
Before he lived in the first garden together with Obelixan, but now he lives in the other, bigger garden.

Xena: In June -98 we brought a male tortoise to Obelixan and...hum, hum...
And the 4:th of May -99 we saw a baby tortoise walking around in the garden.
We call her Xena.
At first we put her in a box, because I didn't want her to walk around in that big garden, I wouldn't be able to find her to give her food, but when I built the new garden, I put her there together with the others.
She is very tiny and very cute, but grows fast.

Cassanova: August 23 -99, me and my dad found Cassius walking around in the middle of the street close to our house.
Someone probably had him for a while, got sick of him and just let him go. Or maybe he ran away.
It stood "Skippy" on the poor thing's back with tipex.
He was really thirsty, cuz' he had foam all around his mouth. He wouldn't survive much longer in that heat, so I took him with me home, gave him food and water and put him in the tortoise garden.
I wasn't sure if I was gonna keep him, he and Billy could get into a fight or something, but they haven't yet.
He is almost exactly the same size as Billy.
I named him Cassanova "Cassius", cauz' the first thing he did when he got into the garden was to mate with Obelixan...
